Ergonomic computer desk is very import part of the offices. People are spending too much on workstations etc. in the offices. The equipment used in the office for the computer design is as mentioned below:
Normal furniture cannot be accommodated at every place. A taller individual might need a one-time alteration to contain his / her work face raised rather; a shorter individual may need a footrest or other accessories. Adaptable furniture may be required in those circumstances where individual shared / use the identical workstation.
The desktop must be planned so that the regularly used items are near to the user to avoid excessive extended reaching.
The work place top should have a finish that is not glossy to minimize glower or manifestation.
The space under the desk must be clean and uncluttered to lodge the user’s legs and also allow for the stretching.
If a desk with fixed height is use, add to a keyboard tray which adjusts vertically to give additional adjustability.
A footrest must be used if, after adjusting the height of the chair, feet do not rest flat on the floor.
Use a headphones or speaker phone to let alone neck and shoulder discomfort if you use a phone normally throughout the day.
Place the phone on the side of your non-dominant hand (i.e., left side if right-handed, right side if left-handed)
Position your desk lamp (if you use one) so that it illuminates source documents without causing either glare on the computer screen or direct illumination to your eyes.
A file holder should be used if papers are referred to during keying. The file holder must be steady and changeable i.e. position, height, distance, and angle of view.
Take your article on either side of the monitor.
Live at the same space from your eyes as the display screen to avoid regular changes of spotlight and you should be able you to look from one to the other without moving your neck or back.
Avoid putting items, under the CPU, under the desks.
Desks should be able to contain a variety of working postures.
Desk surface should allow you to place the monitor straight in front of you, at least 20 inches away.
